His parents split up when he was nine and it screwed him up for a while. He blamed himself and got very angry, eventually going to therapy. His therapist suggested reading, which is when he became absorbed in facts and realized how intelligent he was. The day his letter came, nobody believed it for a long time, but his Father eventually took him to London, thinking it was a joke and they could move on. When they were able to get in Diagon Alley they were all shocked and struggled to accept it. His Father claimed his Mother had had an affair, and has been distant ever since and has a new family. Adam changed his last name to his Mothers.

His heard his Father telling his Mother that Adam wasn’t his son if he was a wizard. His Father was so angry that he threw something at Esme and left her arm badly bruised from blocking it. He regrets not stepping in, even though he was young.
WHAT WAS THE BEST THING THAT HAS EVER HAPPENED TO THEM : Going to Hogwarts, he felt wanted and like he could start over.
WHAT IS THEIR PERSONALITY LIKE : Although Adam loves knowledge, he is a typical boy. He laughs a lot, jokes, and pulls pranks when he can. His Mother always taught him to treat girls with respect and he has stuck by that, becoming a perfect gentleman.
