Jacob pushed open the door to DADA a broad smile on his face. He wasn't happy about being late, especially to his head of house's own class, but he figured if he put himself into a good mood the people surrounding him would be in a good mood as well
"Sorry I'm late professor." Said the happy boy, "I have no meager excuse, except for distraction, but I do come bearing gifts." Jacob grinned as he pulled out his wand and cast "Orchideous" causing a bunch of flowers to spring forth from the tip of his wand."These are for the Misses." Jacob said of the Professor's wife before he noticed a familiar head of dark hair sporting a green trimmed robe. "Here you are" He sad to Neville as he laid the bunch of flowers on his desk and quickly scampered into the crowd after Damian Scamander. "Be sure to change the water twice a week."
"Damian, good buddy, old pal." Jacob laughed as he swung an arm over the shoulders of his friend before noticing the slitted eyes across from them. It was also a first year Jacob noted, the boy having been sorted rather close to his sister Jill.
"Don't tell me you, my sweet slytherin price are already spoken for?!" Jacob said in horror, clutching his chest. "Tis a sad, bitter world we live in men, I assure you that." Jacob shook his head solemnly, “Good night, good night! parting is such sweet sorrow,
That I shall say good night till it be morrow.” Jacob quoted, throwing both hands up now, getting lost in his own theatrics.
