Describe their past history : Always overshadowed by his older brother. Maverick was coddled by his mother which he hated, but used her knowledge about pureblood order and politics to impress his grandfather. No matter what it seemed that Floki excelled in Dark Arts and he was average as a boy. The twins garnered more attention from his mother when Maverick turned hateful towards everyone. When Aether appeared and his mother’s health declined and died from his father’s betray, Maverick takes it a personal offense to Aether’s existence.
