Senior Quidditch Reporter for the Daily Profit
Wand: Blackthorn, Dragon heartstring 10"
Wand Wood Description: Blackthorn, which is a very unusual wand wood, has the reputation of being best suited to a warrior type individual. This does not necessarily mean that its owner practises the Dark Arts; one finds blackthorn wands among the Aurors as well as among the prisoners of Azkaban. On an interesting note, it is a curious feature of the blackthorn bush, which sports wicked thorns, that it produces its sweetest berries after the hardest frosts, and the wands made from this wood appear to need to pass through some sort of great danger or hardship with their owners to become truly bonded. Given this condition, the blackthorn wand will become very loyal and faithful to its owner.
Appearance: Ginny takes the appearance all of her siblings do. Her red hair makes her stand out in a crowd and branded her as a Weasley. Ginny is 5'6 and has the body of a mother. Her pregnancies gave her curves, though she remains very thin thanks to her status as an athlete. She could be out in the category of petite without any outside influence. Her eyes are a bright brown.
Personality: Ginny is a fiercely independent person. Growing up with as many brothers as she did one would have to be. She's strong and rarely cries. She'll stand up to anybody, especially when it comes to protecting those who she loves. You don't want to be on her bad side. Ginny can be rather harsh when it comes to people she doesn't like. Even as a grown woman she remains very opinionated with a sharp temper. She can be an excellent actress, imitating and lying to people. She knows how to make people laugh and keeps the sarcasm and humor she's had since Hogwarts.

History: Ginny Weasley was the final child of Arthur and Molly Weasley. She was the only girl out of seven and grew up very much wanting to join her brothers at Hogwarts. When she was six she developed a habit of breaking into the family broomshed and riding her brothers' brooms, she was not allowed to play quidditch as a child resulting in this. When her brother Ron left for Hogwarts, he met Harry Potter, who Ginny developed a childhood crush on. She became extremely shy around the older boy and had a hard time speaking around him when he came to stay with her family over the summer.
Before her first year began an encounter with Lucius Malfoy gave Ginny a strange black book. It was during this trip to Diagon Alley that Ginny was seen as an independent young woman, standing up for Harry when Draco Malfoy tried to insult him. When Ginny arrived at Hogwarts she was immediately sorted into Gryffindor. When she discovered the diary he began to write in it, the book wrote back. She began pouring her heart out to the diary, or Tom Riddle as it was later discovered. Tom Riddle slowly began to take control of her. By the end of October he had managed to get her to open up the Chamber of Secrets, releasing the basilisk which petrified Mrs. Norris, Argus Filch's cat. She opened it another two times petrifying Colin Creevey and Justin Finch-Fletchley. Following Christmas Ginny started to become suspicious of the diary, attempting to throw it down a toilet in Moaning Myrtle's bathroom. For Valentine's Day Ginny sent Harry Potter a singing Valentine. When his bag was torn she saw he now had the diary and broke into his dormitory to take it back. Under the influence of Tom Riddle once again, she opened the Chamber resulting in the petrification of Hermione Granger and Penelope Clearwater. Tom Riddle decided to take Ginny into the Chamber knowing Harry would come to rescue her. She wrote a farewell on a wall and then descended into the Chamber. As she passed out on a floor Tom Riddle, who now had enough strength, sprung from the diary. When she awoke Harry was beside her, a basilisk fang in his arm. With the aid of Fawks the phoenix, Ginny and her companions made it out of the Chamber. She was reunited with her parents and sent to the Hospital Wing to recover. She returned to a happy, normal state.
In the summer before her second year Ginny joined her family in Egypt. When they returned they spent a night in The Leakey Cauldron where Ginny met Harry once again. When the dementors attacked the Hogwarts Express Ginny was severely affected by them. Her experience with Tom Riddle caused her to shake and sob until she was comforted by Hermione.
In the summer of 1994 Ginny spent a lot of time with Hermione Granger before and after the Quidditch World Cup. The two shared a room and during this time Hermione advised Ginny to relax around Harry. When they returned to Hogwarts she supported Harry throughout the Triwizard Tournament. She attended the Yule Ball with Neville Longbottom. At the ball she met Michael Corner and the two started dating at the end of the year.
With Voldemort's return Molly and Arthur became active members of the Order of the Phoenix. As a result she spent much of her summer in 12 Grimmauld Place. When Harry joined them she took Hermione's advice, relaxing around him. Hermione told her of the Order meetings that she wasn't allowed to attend as the older girl was allowed in one of them. During the train ride back to Hogwarts Ginny introduced Harry to Luna Lovegood. Ginny joined Dumbledore's Army along with her boyfriend, Michael. During her time there her talent for DADA was shown off, her skill impressed Harry. Ginny became the seeker when Harry was banned from Quidditch, though she preferred the position of chaser. Just before Christmas Arthur was attacked by Nagini and Ginny was sent back to Grimmauld Place. While her father was in St. Mungo's Harry became increasingly distant from the family. Hermione forced him out of hiding and Ginny then told him of her own experience with being controlled by Voldemort, as that's what Harry thought had happened to him. Once back at Hogwarts Harry and Ginny began to grow closer. Harry confided in her that he need to speak to Sirius and Ginny spoke to Fred and George about achieve this. Ginny dumped Michael Corner after he became moody due to Ginny's success in winning Gryffindor the Quidditch Cup. When Harry had a vision of Sirius at the Department of Mysteries, Ginny and Luna Lovegood joined him, Ron, and Hermione. Harry and Hermione broke into Umbridge's office while Ginny and Luna persuaded people to avoid the corridor. Umbridge had her Inquisitorial Squad round up all those helping Harry. They broke free while Harry and Hermione were with Umbridge using what Harry had taught them in Dumbledore's Army. Ginny, Harry, Hermione, Luna, Ron, and Neville Longbottom flew threstals to the Ministry of Magic where Harry believed Sirius to be. They were separated, but the put up a good fight until members of the Order appeared. After the battle, Ginny recovered in the Hospital Wing. On the train back home Ginny revealed to her brother and Harry that she had dumped Michael and was now dating their classmate, Dean Thomas.
The summer before her fifth year was spent at The Burrow. She spent the summer forcing herself to put up with her brother's fiancé, Fleur, whom she nicknamed Phelgm. Despite this she had a good summer practicing Quidditch. On the train ride she met up with Dean Thomas, but the two were soon interrupted by Zacharias Smith who was attempting to get information about what had happened at the Ministry. She fired the Bat-Bogey Hex at him, impressing Horace Slughorn who invited her to join the Slug Club. When the term started she tried out for chaser and earned the spot. She began having arguments with her brother, Ron, over her relationship with Dean Thomas which resulted in a rather cold relationship between them for some time. This only worsened as Ron began dating Lavender Brown. They didn't forgive each other until after Ron was put in the Hospital Wing by poison. Ginny and Dean had an argument after Dean laughed when Cormac McLaggen (who had been filling in for Ron's keeper position) took a beater bat and ended up hitting Harry in the head. The two broke up after she accused Dean of always helping her through the portrait hole, despite the fact it had merely been Harry this time. After Harry fired Sectumsempra at Draco Malfoy, she defended his actions, though they caused him to get detention for the last Quidditch match of the season. Ginny fulfilled his role as seeker, however, and won them the match. During the celebrations Harry and Ginny kissed and began dating. When Draco Malfoy let Death Eaters into the school Harry gave Ginny, Ron, and Hermione the last of his liquid luck. With Ron and Neville, Ginny staked out the Room of Requirement, where Harry suspected they were coming from. In the battle Ginny fought with Amycus Carrow, dodging all the curses thanks to the potion. After the battle Ginny found her brother, Bill, had been attacked by Fenir Greyback. She also led Harry away from Dumbledore's body to break the news to her family of what had happened. After Dumbledore's funeral, Harry broke up with Ginny to keep her safe.
Before her sixth year Harry joined the Weasley's at the Burrow. On Harry's seventeenth birthday she told him she didn't know what to get him, instead giving him a kiss to remember her by. In August, Ginny was a bridesmaid in Bill and Fleur's wedding. In the middle of the celebrations, a patronus was sent by Kingsley Shaklebolt declaring the minister dead and death eaters on the way. As the dark wizards began to appear Harry, Hermione, and Ron apparated away. The Weasley's were questioned, but none were harmed. At school Ginny joined up with Neville and Luna to run Dumbledore's Army. They began to openly defy the current people heading the school sneaking out and writing on walls 'Dummbledore's Army - Still Recruiting." During the Easter Holidays Ginny joined the rest of her family in hiding.
When Harry showed up school in search of a horcrux, Neville sent word to Ginny. She then showed up with her brother's and Lee Jordan to help him. As the Order arrived it was decided the Ginny, not yet of age, would have to stay in the Room of Requirement. She got out of this, however, when Harry told her he needed to get into the Room. She joined the battle. During the time where the fighting ceased, Ginny discovered her brother, Fred, had been killed. She suffered another shock of grief when she saw Harry's lifeless body. The battle began again and Ginny, Luna, and Hermione battled Bellatrix Lestrange until Molly Weasley killed the witch. Ginny watched Harry defeat Voldemort and sat with her mother in the time immediately following the battle.
After the war ended, Harry and Ginny decided to began dating again. Ginny finished school and went on to become a Professional Chaser for the Holyhead Harpies. She and Harry married several years into her career. Harry, being Teddy Lupin's godfather, helped to raise Teddy. Ginny also had a large hand in this and Teddy is like her own child. When Ginny became pregnant for the first time she retired to become a Quidditch reporter. James Sirius was born on March 8. Following him was Albus Severus and Lily Luna. She rose in the ranks of her profession to become the Senior Quidditch Correspondent for the Daily Profit. She attended the 2014 Quidditch World cup with her family. In 2017 she sent Albus off for his first year of Hogwarts. Lily has now joined her brothers at Hogwarts leaving Harry and Ginny with an empty nest. Though Harry and Ginny have since managed to recover from the war, both experience PTSD.
