Appearance: Caty (pronounced Katie) has dark brown, messy hair. She doesn't have the time to bother with it and generally just brushes it out or pulls it into a ponytail. Her eyes are a dark brown. She's a spitting image of her mother, who was the one who raised her for the most part. Since puberty hit she's lost her baby fat and has developed into a rather tall young girl, standing at 5'7"

Personality: Caty got more of her personality from the charming father that she got to see on many weekends of her childhood. She has her father's humor and intelligence, but she also has traits neither of her parents have. Caty's mother is a darker woman. She fell in love with Caty's father because he could make her laugh, but she's always been serious. She isn't the kindest woman and knows how to push people down to get to the top. Her father has always possessed an attitude that he's better than other people. Caty, on the other hand, has always been kind hearted. She helps everything in sight and has an open mind about all people and creatures. She has an innocence about her that neither of her parents ever had. She's very loyal, but tries to avoid confrontation. She's more of a peacemaker than a fighter. She possesses an ability to forgive and look to the future rather than dwell on the past.

History: Caty is the daughter of Hogwarts professor Tristan Knight and Ana Alcaron, the daughter of a wealth Spanish businessman. Her parents met while Tristan was traveling the world. During his few weeks in Spain he met the stunningly mysterious Ana. The two had a brief romance resulting in their daughter, Catalina, being born nine months later. Caty spent most of her childhood with her mother, but on the weekends she was daddy's girl. It was her father who christened her "Caty", which she then started having people calling her when she started Hogwarts. Tristan had always been the fun parents. Ana was more business with Catalina. When she was eleven it came time for her to decide what school she wanted to go to. Her mother wanted her to go to a elite private school in Italy, but her father was vouching for Hogwarts, where hew as currently teaching. In the end Caty decided on Hogwarts because it seemed to fit her personality better than her mother's choice of school. From then on Caty's relationship with her mother became a bit rocky. Her mother didn't understand why she hadn't chosen the school she wanted. In recent years it has been improving, Ana has been trying harder to understand her daughter. For her birthday that year her mother got her a puppy, something which Caty loved because it showed her mother was finally paying attention to her wants.
