Wand Wood Description: Rowan wood was prized due to its reputation for protection and producing powerful, hard to break Defensive Charms. Rowan was also noted for its believed disassociation with the Dark Arts. Rowan has become associated with pure-hearted owners.
Appearance: Calvin takes on the appearance of somebody who has had hard life. He's a fairly average height at 6'1". He has light brown hair and a defined jaw line, but all of this suits him. It's his eyes that give away who he really is. His eyes are green and seem to constantly give away his emotions. They reveal his unfortunate past mixed with the hard reality of his present. Calvin's emotions are always obvious through not only his eyes, but his expression. He has an awful poker face when confronted by the people he cares about.
Personality: From a time he was young Calvin has always been a fighter. His mother was killed by Deatheaters and it left him with a deep need to rid the world of them. He's always been able to follow orders and rules, but as he grew older he also developed leadership skills. Calvin has a deep respect for everybody and everything upon first impression. His respect may grow or weaken depending on what he learns. Calvin, unlike both his sisters, almost never lashes out at anybody. Most of the time he manages to keep his head, though he may become upset. He's very protective of his little sisters despite the fact both have changed so much since they were toddlers.

History: Calvin Hunter was born to Esmerelda Fawcett, a pureblood witch, and Edward Harvey. His mother was pregnant with him for the last months of the Second War. He was born in April, less than a month before Voldemort's defeat. His mother had been a very active supporter of the Order of the Phoenix, though she wasn't a member herself. Esmerelda had a hand in helping the Lovegood's print issues of the Quibble supporting Harry Potter. Fortunately, she was transferred to a safehouse when this was discovered. After the Battle of Hogwarts, Esmeralda, her muggle husband, and their new born son began to ease back out of hiding. Their period in the safe house had put a strain on Calvin's parent's marriage and they never were the same.
For eight years Calvin's mum loved him more than anything. When he was six Esmerelda gave birth to healthy baby girls. After being the only child for six years, Calvin immediately took to his sisters. Anabel and Mallory fascinated him. As they began to grow he learned how he could play with them, though he was always very protective of the babies.
Two years after his sisters were born, Esmerelda was killed at the hands of death eaters. Edward felt no need to stay with the children whom he had never really connected with. He abandoned them, leaving them with their grandmother the evening after Esmerelda's funeral. Calvin never forgave his father. Though Anabel and Mallory couldn't remember the man, Calvin could. His father had never been incredibly kind, but Calvin had never though he would just abandon his children. The three Fawcett children were put into the custody of their grandmother. They grew up in the same area as the Lovegood, Diggory, and Weasley families. Molly and Arthur had grandchildren near the same age as Calvin and his sisters. The three of them formed friendships with them. Calvin grew particularly close to Teddy Lupin and his counterpart, @victoire.
Calvin left for Hogwarts at the age of eleven, leaving his two young sisters behind. Calvin had only grow more protective of them over the years, not wanting to go off to a boarding school without them. Though his sisters remained on his mind, Calvin allowed himself to get swept into the magic of Hogwarts. He was easily sorted into Gryffindor and there he thrived. Calvin had an exceptional skill for DADA, something that led him to look into the Auror Department.
Calvin graduated the year his sisters arrived at Hogwarts. He watched as the twins, who had always been close, were torn apart by differing houses and opinions. Anabel had always been incredibly kind and open minded to everyone, Mallory was more closed off. Watching the distance between them increase worried Calvin. He had always been close to both his sisters, a sort of paternal figure in their life. Anabel was not the only one Mallory pulled away from. He saw the distance slowly growing between himself and the girl as well, though it was in no way as drastic as the rift that had formed between her other sibling. Calvin can recount several times when he held Anabel as she cried over the fact that her sister no longer seemed to be her sister.
After graduation, Calvin entered into the training required to become an auror. There he found his place among the ranks. He was exceptional at his job. Protecting people had always come naturally and Calvin held a deep disgust for people like those who had murdered his mother.
