What color are their eyes, hair and skin? : Hazel eyes, subtle red hair that falls past her shoulders and pale alabaster skin. Very small in height and physique.

How do they dress? : She likes to wear a variety of things from jeans and sweaters to dresses and tights.

Do they wear makeup? : Only a bit of mascara

Do they resemble any family members? : She looks nothing like either of her parents or her brother for that matter, but her brother and her share the same eyes. Her mother's sister has red hair like hers and she's the only one in the family who Evie remotely resembles.

What is their best physical feature? : Her eyes, hazel lightly flecked with traces of gold and when she looks into the sun they almost look green.

What is their most flawed physical feature? : Her small height and frame. She’s weak and everyone that she encounters knows it, which makes her vulnerable to just about everything.

-FAMILY INFORMATION-

Where are they from? : A small town in Luxembourg, France

Describe their past history : Evie’s parents met at St. Mungo’s. Her father, Matteus Gilbert worked as a Healer on the fourth floor and specialized in spell damage related injuries. Her mother, Fiona Travers started working at the hospital two years after Matteus in the Janus Thickey Ward dealing specifically with long-term residents who had permanent or long-lasting spell damage. They dated steadily for about five years before finally deciding to get married. After three years of marriage, Fiona gave birth to their first child, Evie’s older brother, Simon. They had Evie two years later unexpectedly. Matteus and Fiona only planned on having one child but when Fiona became pregnant, they knew they couldn’t get rid of the child. Evelyn was born nine months later.

Matteus and Fiona were very strict parents. Their children were kept on a tight schedule every day and weren’t allowed to deviate from said schedule in any way. If they did, they would be punished in a variety of ways by their father. Simon and Evie were only allowed about twenty minutes of playtime a day which wasn’t enough for children. Simon was allowed more freedom than Evie. He was the favorite child, always getting praised for completing his chores while Evie barely got a pat on the shoulder and that was all. Evie tried desperately to get her parent’s attention but they were too focused on her brother to ever take notice to her. They didn’t allow her to go to primary school and instead forced her to stay home and complete Simon’s chores while he was away at school. Eventually, Evie began to resent her parents at a young age and it continued throughout her life, her parents never showing her the type of affection that they should have.

Simon often snuck into Evie’s room after their parents went to bed and told her stories about school and his friends. He taught her how to read and write since she wasn't allowed to attend school. Simon didn’t mean for Evie to get the short end of the stick and he also resented his parents for alienating his sister. Evie loved her brother and looked up to him and was devastated when he went away to Durmstrang, leaving her at home with her parents. She received her acceptance to Beauxbatons and couldn't wait to go. Even though she wouldn’t be with her brother, she was more than happy to go away and leave her parents behind.

As soon as she graduated from school, Evie moved out of her parent’s house to London, getting a job at the bookstore Flourish and Blotts in Diagon Alley. For a while she lived in shelters and even stayed in the bookshop a few times until she finally had enough saved to get her own flat, where she currently resides. Her brother is an auror and also lives in London and she sees him often.

-PERSONAL INFORMATION-

What do they hate? : Being too small, laziness, being ignored

What do they love? : The smell of old books, her cat – Arnold, taking pictures with her muggle camera. She aspires to one day become a photographer for the Daily Prophet.

What can they not live without? : Her brother. He’s her best friend and she would be lost without him.

Have they ever been in love? : No. She’s never been in any sort of relationship before.

What is their most traumatic memory? : One night when she was staying in the bookstore before she could afford her own place, two men broke in while she was there. They threatened her, beat her up and took her money and the money that was in the cash register. Her boss found her the next morning and called her brother, who took her to St. Mungo’s. He paid her hospital expenses for her and allowed her to stay with him until she was able to afford to move out. Evie still has nightmares about it and anxiety over someone breaking into her house again.

What is their happiest memory? : Moving into her own place. It was the best feeling in the world and she had never been happier.

Describe their personality : Despite her rough past, Evie is generally a very happy person. She loves her life now that she’s away from her parents and she enjoys working at the bookstore. She is extremely optimistic and likes to see the good in everyone even when it’s not there. Evie is very sweet and polite and she takes pride in her work. She is compassionate about everyone and would never think to hurt somebody. Unfortunately, Evie is also extremely naïve and vulnerable, making her weak compared to others. She avoids any type of confrontation, knowing that because of her size she would just give in eventually.

What would be a stranger's first impression of them? : A sweet, innocent girl.

How would you, the writer, describe them? : Evie’s genuine. She’s sweet and kind to everyone unless they’ve done something that doesn’t warrant such treatment, in which case she just ignores them all together. She tries not to let what her parents did to her affect her but some nights she wakes up in cold sweats and with tears running down her cheeks because of it.

Was school a good time for them? Describe their school life : Evie had a great time in school. She was well liked and had a good group of friends that she was surrounded with until graduation. She did well in all of her classes and hardly ever acted out. She never had a boyfriend though there were several boys that she had crushes on.

Did they have a lot of friends? : Evie’s personality attracted a lot of others. Her kind nature drew people towards her so she was friends with everyone unless they had done something to make her not want to be their friend but she was still friendly and polite to them.
