Wand: Vine and Unicorn Hair, 9 3/4 inches
Wand Wood Description: ”Vine wands are among the less common types, and their owners are nearly always those witches or wizards who seek a greater purpose, who have a vision beyond the ordinary and who frequently astound those who think they know them best.” Vine wands seem strongly attracted by personalities with hidden depth. These wands are very sensitive to sensing their owners and can emit magical effects upon the mere entrance of their master coming into a room.
Appearance: Jill is of average height for an eleven year old girl, standing at four-foot-seven. She has long light brown hair that she would like to cut but her mom won't let her so it usually sits tied back in a a tight pony tail. Being the first girl, with four brothers previous in her family, Jill is rather boyish in her mannerisms. She prefers more physically demanding activities such as wrestling, climbing trees and quidditch. She walks confidently like her brothers perfectly happy with who she is and not yet feeling the emotional ups and downs of puberty. Jill is thin from all the activity she does and the dance classes she took regularly, though she'd never admit she took ballet and loved it. Like Jacob, Jill has freckles but hers are lighter and will most likely fade with adult hood. Like the restof her siblings, Jill has dark eyes, though luckily she was able to get her mother's long, thick dark lashes that so far only her and her only sister Jude, have gotten.
Personality: Jill has the heart of an adventurer. She is curious about everything and anything wanting to go everywhere and figure out how things work. She is perhaps the most intelligent and detail oriented of her family often noticing small things in movies and life and in people that most of the time go unnoticed. Jill is a happy girl, talkative once you get her going and very opinionated. When first meeting though, Jill is quiet and a bit shy. Being the fourth child she was always able to hide behind one of her brothers but now on her own in her first year of Hogwarts, she is being forced to intermingle with her peers without the help of her brothers. Jill is a very understanding, and motherly person, who cares deeply about her friends well being and happiness.
Favorite Subjects: Potions, History, and Transfiguration
Least Favorite Subjects: Herbology and Arithmancy
What He/She Loves: Jill loves all manner of curious things. Anything she can stick her nose into, explore, dissect, and figure out she lives for. Jill is also an avid reader, willing to read anything she can get her hands on.
What He/She Hates: Jill hates liars, laziness, and lime jello.
History: Jill grew up very often doted on by her father, being one of only two girls. Her brother treated her like a brother though, not knowing how else to treat her. Just like Jacob, she got pushed around and made to do stupid things by her brothers like jump out of trees and throw rocks. After Joeseph left for Hogwarts. Jill grew closer to Jacob, them being so close in age at only a year and a week apart. Jill was born prematurely which has caused her mother to be very watchful of her. Matilda worried whenever Jill got sick as a young child and still worries today, it having become ingrained. Growing u,p Matilda would always be furious at how rough her three oldest were with Jill, not thinking that her little preemie could take it, but that was not the case. Wanting Jill to take it down a notch, Matilda forced her into ballet, which Jill secretly loved despite it being so girly. Jill discovered she liked to feel feminine every once in a while. When Jacob left for Hogwarts, Jill grew depressed and lonely, eager for her brother to return, the two practically being twins. The summer before her first year, everything was good an things seemed to go back to normal. Jill was devastated to go to Hogwarts though and discover that at school, Jacob wanted nothing to do with her. Jill also learned much to her horror, that good-boy-Joey, wasn't so good and that innocent Jem wasn't so innocent.(
