Philo felt overwhelmed by Ava's confession, so she had felt the same? All this time? She seemed embarrassed and immediately shut down like she often did, causing him to reach out for her, wanting to feel connected and express the warm, glorious emotions flooding him. "Don't you dare." He breathed gently, a broad smile tugging at his lips as he stood up and grabbed each of her warm hands, pulling her up with him. He let go, snaking his arms around her waist instead and pulling her into him as he crashed his lips down upon her, kissing her with desperate need and longing as if they had parted for centuries. He had never felt so overwhelmed with joy and relief and he conveyed that in his kiss, immediately deepening it, kissing her slowly and savoring each moment of it as if he'd never get the chance to do it again. Finally he broke away, brushing back a smooth lock of blond hair behind her ear affectionately, his dark, brown eyes glistening with warmth. He hadn't felt this alive since the last time they kissed and he had missed the feeling. "Be my girlfriend." He told her, his tone sure, without a hint of hesitation. "I don't want to play these games anymore. We've both got out how we truly feel, there's no going back. I can't just be friends." He admitted softly, his tone a bit husky from the deep kiss. This wasn't how he imagined asking her out but he couldn't wait a second longer. He needed to know she'd be his, that things would be right again between them.
