Wand: Cedar and Dragon Heartstring, 10 inches
Wand Wood Description: The owner of a cedar wand has great strength of character and unusual loyalty. Ollivander has been known to say he has never yet met the owner of a cedar wand with whom he would care to cross, especially if harm is done to those of whom they are fond. The witch or wizard who is well-matched with cedar carries the potential to be a frightening adversary, which often comes as a shock to those who have thoughtlessly challenged them.
Appearance: Julien is tall and still growing. He stands tall and proud like his father before him and most of the men in his family. He has their looks as well, with fair skin, dark hair and a brooding face. He knows he is very attractive even if on the lean sign with his chiseled face and "devilish good looks" as he like to put it. One feature he absolutely hates though are his eyes. All the men in his father's family, and even the women, have dark eyes to match their dark hair but Julien instead, somehow, was given strange gold-green eyes which he resents.
Personality: Julien is kind of really awful. He hates his cousin Joeseph with a passion and that hate and jealousy reflects heavily upon his character. Over all Julien is rather cruel, often speaking down to others as he feels the need to be better and above people, even his so called friends sometimes. Despite this though, Julien is strangely loyal, especially to his sisters, often times helping them sneak in out of Hogwarts as well as home. He watches their back and wouldn't hesitate to pick a fight with whoever threatens them. Julien is very studious, determined to be better than Joeseph but until his father acknowledges his superiority, Julien will fail to see how far he has truly come.
Underneath all his anger and resentment though, the real Julien resides. Julien has a tendency to think with his heart instead of his head revealing that in actuality he is a very empathetic person though it's over powered by his jealousy. Though this does not apply to everyone, when Julien really gets to know someone he begins to care for them a lot, ssometimesoverwhelmingly so as the things around him impact him a lot more than he would let anyone believe.
Favorite Subjects:Astronomy, Herbology, Potions, and Arithmancy
Least Favorite Subjects: Divination (supposedly) and Astronomy
What He/She Loves: Julien enjoys anything he shouldn't. He likes to read about and sometimes in the security of his own home practice dark magic in hopes of pleasing his father though is not as good at it as his rival. Julien loves to read and values having his own space to reflect and think. Surprisingly, he enjoys writing as well and playing with the wolves his father keeps. Julien loves his family deeply as well, exception to Joeseph, and cares for all his sisters more than anything else in the world.
What He/She Hates: First and foremost, Julien hates Joeseph. He hates not being the best in everything he does and he hates the stupid eyes his mother gave him.
History: At seven, Jasic, Julien's father moved his family out to the middle of nowhere in England to be closer to his sister Matilda and her family, though they were originally from Blanc, a small village in South France. At least that was the pretense of moving. Now Julien had met his Scarbore cousins before but to him they were unimpressive. His father for the most part seemed to think so as well though continued to shower them with the love of an uncle. That was all but Joeseph. Joeseph was different from his family and Jasic picked up on this. Soon Joeseph was always with them, whenever Jasic would take Julien out into the woods to teach him the strange old ways of their family, Joeseph would be brought along too. Of course this made Julien insanely jealous, didn't Joeseph have his own Dad from whom he could learn? Anothony is not Dumere, his father would reply. Julien was not dumb and knew there was more to it than that, Jasic saw something in Joeseph Julien couldn't. There was something that haunted those dark eyes, dark eyes Julien would kill to have, that excited his father. There was potential in Joeseph, incredible potential, but not near as much in Julien.
Soon Julien's lessons became shorter and shorter until they finally stopped all together in his third year. Joeseph's didn't though. In fact Joeseph saw more of Jasic than Julien did and this only served to fan the flames of jealousy higher in Julien. The light eyes lad began to detest his cousin and in turn Joeseph did the same. They would bicker endlessly and often resort to fist fights. This upset Matilda, Julien's aunt and Joespeh's mother greatly the two having been such great friends in youth. Apparently. Joeseph would try to contain himself for his mother but Julien would never stop egging him on hoping his cousin would strike, hoping Joeseph would just loose it one day and that would be when Julien released all he had and showed his father how truly worthy and powerful of a wizard he was.
