HARPER ESTELLE PIPPERY-BOTT
"Try me."
- 16 - February 5th - Bi - Single - Half-blood -
Wand: Willow and Phoenix Feather, 11 inches
Wand Wood Description:
Appearance: Harper is a full figured women, all curves and loves everysecond of it. The only thing she doesn't like about herself that much is her height but that is nothing a pair of kick-ass snake-skin pumps can't fix. Harper while inheriting her generous proportions from her mother, was graced with her father's coloring of fair skin, dark hair, and light eyes.
Personality: Harper is very independent and headstrong. She doesn't like things to be done for her and she's very particular about how she does things as all. She tries to express herself in all things she does, art, school work, writing, even how she dresses, thus uniforms are a bit of a sore spot for the girl. She is very quick in the mind, smart, and sarcastic, Harper enjoys debates, expressing her opinions and fighting for civil rights, mostly LGBT equality. She is a loyal friend and despite how dark and serious she can be, enjoys to party and have fun. She's admitted to being a bit of a music snob but is always up for a good time. Those that are close realize under her tough, confident exterior she is a very sympathetic, caring person and a right laugh.
Favorite Subjects: Charms, Transfiguration, and Potion
Least Favorite Subjects: Care of Magical Creatures and Astronomy
What He/She Loves: Poetry, banned books, fires, sweaters, arts, chicken gyros, art, the theater, and writing.
What He/She Hates: Racists, homophobes, biggots, idiocy, censorship, and ignorance.
History: Harper is the love child between two people who are the walking definitions of hipster. Not in the obnoxious way though, at least usually. Though her father, Mathius is a wizard, his one true passion is art and so after Hogwarts he pursued his career in muggle London, most of his art having a unique mix between the whimsy of the magic he grew up surrounded by but also the harsh reality of the times having been around for the wizarding war which gave him an unexpected edge on his muggle competition. It was while he was living as a struggling artist, bumming on the couches of friends and refusing to live off his parents that Mathius met Winry. Winry was also an artist but she was also very into politics and a hard core liberal. She could always be found in one of three places: A library, a protest, or her studio. Eventually she became a well known children's author but that was only after having Harper. Mathius and her were room mates at first, both barely making enough money to support themselves but with hours spent together huddled under blankets because the heat was out and eating ramen almost nightly they fell in love.
Though still together, Mathius and Winry refused to marry, feeling it was simply a piece of paper. They found relative success later in life but never forgot their humble starts. Harper soon became the center of the universe and they raised her with every care in the world as well as instilling their most cherished values in her; self-love and individuality. Raised in the heart of London's cultural center Harper was one-hundred percent a city child. She knows London like the back of her hand, which restaurants sell vegan, how to get the cheapest theater tickets, and which gallerias have the good stuff. To this day Harper is an independent, outspoken, sharp tongued, take-no-shit feme-fatel and her parents couldn't be prouder.
