Hunter was seated in a comfortable booth with his brother, having lunch that bitter, cold Saturday afternoon. He hadn't paid his younger sibling a visit in far too long, a little over a month. Hunter often pulled his disappearing act, so this wasn't the first time the elder Cobb brother had fallen off the radar. It was difficult tides to navigate, keeping his personal life from his parents a secret without cutting off his brother as well. Hunter was merely secretive by nature, preferring to keep his aspirations, successes, and failures to himself. Therefore he didn't mean to go so long without speaking a word to his brother, yet it kept happening over and over again. Luckily, Frankie seemed equally as occupied with his own career as a Professor at Hogwarts as Hunter was working in the Department of Mysteries, making him more understanding as of late than he usually was when Hunter dropped off the map. Life happened and sometimes even siblings grew out of touch.
The sandy-haired blond scanned over the contents of the shabby menu, wondering why Frankie had chosen what he'd likely consider a dingy pub for them to dine in this afternoon. Frankie had exceptional taste in most everything, ranging from music to attire and at last to dining, among countless other areas, so why he'd choose the Leaky Cauldron of all places immediately set off red flags in Hunter's head but he remained silent, assuming that perhaps his younger brother had finally outgrown his relentless critiquing of nearly everything, especially decor, food and drink.
"I come here a lot on my lunch breaks at work, their batwing stew is to die for, Frankie, you ought to give it a try." Hunter suggested casually, cerulean eyes flickering up over to meet his brother's, carefully accessing his reaction to the menu and the pub in general, with a small smirk of amusement plastered to his lips.
Hunter then glanced down at his muggle wrist watch, gleaming in the daylight filtering in through the window they were seated by, giving a quaint view to the snow covered, cobblestone, main street of Diagon Alley. Hunter momentarily kept his gaze outside the window, admiring the snow flurries and feeling a small moment of serenity before glancing back to peer over at his brother. "It's nearly ten til, I hope she'll be arriving soon... I'm awfully eager to meet this runic mastermind you've been boasting of. Though, I don't recall you ever mentioning a name in the letter..." Hunter observed, wondering if he had ever heard of this mysterious woman before.
