Black walnut is a very handsome wood but difficult to master. Appearance: He has brown hair that tends to flip, curl, or twist up when he forgets to dry his hair after a shower, or has bed head. He has grey eyes with just a hint of blue in them. His skin easily tans, but doesn't easily burn. He is a light tan without the sun and is tan with the sun. He is currently 5'5 feet tall. 

Personality: He is protective of his friends and family (the people he actually considers family). He is either very opinionated most of the time, but when he gets scared that a person will get mad and break off their friendship he becomes a bit of a person who goes along and follows others. He doesn't have much opportunities to be adventurous so he likes to read adventure books to quench his desires. He is a very loyal friend to have and he expects to have just as equally loyal friends as well. He studies consistently in order to appease his father. He isn't a straight O student, but generally achieves good grades. He is a serious person and doesn't know how to properly let loose after all the years his Step-Father has picked on all of his flaws. He has a big heart and is quite protective of others who are being bullied. He is generally a kind person, but he carries a lot of insecurities so he can come off as being mean when provoked. He can seem shy when called out to unexpectedly in class.

What He/She Loves: He loves his mother and his two half-sisters (family). He loves traveling, meeting new people, learning about new cultures, Potions, Charms, apple pie, cauldron cakes, fictional adventure stories, the beach, the mountains, the forest, loyalty, friends, and animals/creatures.

What He/She Hates: He hates his father and Step-Father, bullies, people against purebloods as well as people against muggle-borns, discrimination, favoritism, sexism, verbal abuse, taunting, promise-breakers, lamb, and seafood.

History: Before Axel was even born his biological father Joey left his mother for a muggle woman. Joey is a muggle and had no idea of the wizarding world and continues to be clueless to its existence. Annabelle had never married Joey, but had hoped to. Devistated and alone Annabelle raised Axel on her own with the help of her parents, his grandparents. Annabelle took care of Axel and taught him kindness can go a long way to making others happy. Axel respects how hard his mother worked and still works to take care of him. The two have a very close tight knit relationship.



Annabelle met Arnold Wakefield a ministry worker when registering for a portkey. In England if you want to get a portkey you have to go to Arnold Wakefield. She fell in love and within a year of meeting each other the two got married and at the age of 7 Axel had a Step-Father who he barely knew a thing about.



Axel and Arnold quickly found out that they don't get along well with each other. Arnold holds impossibly high expectations for Axel. He wants Axel to get straight O's and then join the corrupt ministry. Arnold wants Axel to be more logical and less emotional. Arnold looks for any imperfection and picks on Axel relentlessly for each one. Arnold doesn't treat Annabelle very well and picks on her flaws.



Annabelle was pregnant before the wedding and gave birth to Ellie Wakefield when Axel was 8 years old. His sister's smiles and laughter brought a better atmosphere to the household.

Axel didn't get to meet his half-sister Layla Crest until she was 12 years old and he was 13 years old when his mother took him to meet her it was the first time Axel spent time with his father's family in the muggle world. He is still not close to Joey his flaky dad who is irresponsible. His Step-Mother Amelia Crest is a woman of high maintenance and is very snobby. Alex is close to Layla and frequently visits his muggle sister in the summers despite the annoying parents.



Annabelle and Arnold are both purebloods and the fact that his mother refused to name his birth father on his birth certificate has lead to the misconception that Axel himself is a pureblood as well. Axel has been bullied for being a pureblood despite not being one, thus he hates prejudice against purebloods as well as muggle-borns. His mother refuses to clear the issue of his blood status because she wants to keep Arnold happy. Annabelle believes she can keep her husband happy if everyone thinks of Axel as his biological son.
