In order to pass a class here on Geminio, one only has to have each of their ocs post at least once in each class they are in. If you don't know whether or not you are in a class, check your pms, as it is most likely a professor has sent you a message telling when the class will begin and how long you have to post in the thread before your oc(s) will be considered late for class. You may also pm a professor, asking if your oc is on the roster for that particular class, or go back to the registration thread and check to see if you had signed your oc up at all. Though the registration threads will most likely be locked after the beginning of class, one can still find it usually under registrations.
Like school in most schools, one is expected to go above and beyond the bare minimum to attain good grades. Hopefully, the following chart will be able to explain the grading system here at Geminio in a clear and concise manner.
The Grading System:
*Note: One post in the entire class thread will earn an 'A', the lesson needn't have started yet, though student participation is encouraged.
Homework will most likely be pm'd to a student, but only at the discretion of the Professor. Some Professors may choose to administer homework, while others may not. If one has posted more than three times in the class thread, the homework is optional and 50 house points will be awarded to those with an 'O' in class that wish to complete the assignment. If, on the other hand, one has received an 'A' or an 'E', then the homework can be completed to raise the grade one letter. (ex: An 'Acceptable will become an 'Exceeds Expectations').
*Note: Homework does not need to be passed in the following class thread. If you choose to complete the homework, just pm the professor back with the answers.
