Maddie couldn't help the feeling of awkwardness that seemed to surround the group since Jason had shown up. She knew she shouldn't blame it on him, none of them really knew each other, Maddie considered herself the common ground of the group but she just couldn't stop thinking at how much Eden and Jason didn't fit together. She wondered what had provoked them to even consider dating but she figured that maybe that was a question to save for dinner. She had planned for them to go to Madam Puddifoot's. The tea there was delicious and she'd heard good things about the food as well. It was either there or the Hog's Head and the latter made Maddie cringe in disgust.
She kept hold of Logan's warm hand as they made their way to the little village that Maddie had grown to love so much. She really was so glad that he was there and she gave his hand another small squeeze as they walked. She'd always thought the village was so peaceful there, apart from the dirty pub, and she always enjoyed her visits, especially when she was able to go to Honeydukes for some much needed sweets. She knew Eden had an enormous sweet tooth and smiled at the memory of them sitting on the couch in the common room with the bag from the sweet shop sitting in between them. She looked over her shoulder and back at the redhead. "Hey, Eden, think we should make a stop at Honeydukes before the night's over?" she asked with a smile, knowing Eden would most likely be completely up for the idea.
