Come and roll your sleeves up, so to speak, and pitch in.

Noxie let herself feel him. She breathed him in, her own oxygen intake steadying out until it flowed against his, her chest inflating as his sank back down. Her heart was hammering in her chest, though whether it was left over fear of him being in the same room, or the simple joy that she was feeling now that she knew everything was okay between them. She closed her eyes, listening to his heart through the pulse in his neck. It was beating just as fast, if not faster, than her own. Perhaps he had been just as nervous as her or maybe she’d surprised him with her sudden hug. Whatever it was though didn’t really matter. The important thing was he didn’t hate her.
Sniffling a bit, Noxie’s tears stopped and she frowned, still hiding her face away against his shoulder, relishing the feeling of his arms holding her. They were comfortable and safe. Strong. She was rather fond of his arms to tell the truth. She sighed, pondering his question and wondering how she was supposed to answer it when she didn‘t completely know why either… Well. So long as she was honest, she supposed there was no harm in it. She just hoped he didn‘t think badly of her for her opinion of his new fiance’. “I don’t know. I just… Bianca…. She’s not a very nice girl, Z. I’m sorry, but she isn’t. I know I should be nice to her, but something’s off with that one. She just…” She paused as she felt him shift a bit and touch her head. She could feel the vibrations of his voice against her skull, but his words were too quiet, lost in her currently uncontrolled brown locks. She blinked and pushed away, not that she wanted to get away from him, but because she’d just remembered something. “Your nose.”
Noxie let go of him and reached out with both hands, gently pressing her fingers against both sides of his nose. She felt at it tenderly, eyes watery from all her crying, full of concern as she tried to see if it was bruised or bent at all. She had hit him pretty hard yesterday and any damage she’d done had probably been healed quickly by the nurse, but still… “Is it alright?” She asked, licking her lips and leaning in close to try and see it better. Her eyes flicked upwards, gazing up into his questioningly.
