"I don't think we do." James refuted her statement. "I have no idea where I live." James was always embarrassed by this statement, but it was true. Harry Potter had inherited everything his parents owned, including the rather large manor James' namesake had grown up in.
The 'Potter Manor' was on an incredibly large plot of land protected by all kinds of enchantments. Once you were within 100 yards of the Potter property it became impossible to apparate. You had to go on foot until you reached an impressive set of gates. Here there were charms in place so only certain preapproved people could enter. If you were familiar with the property you would know that once inside the gates there was a specific tree lining the path that could be opened. Inside that tree was a system very similar to the toilets used at the ministry. It brought you up closer towards the front door of James' home. Nobody knew where exactly the manor was located just as nobody knew where exactly Hogwarts was located. It was in some kind of English country side.
Because James' home was so large he'd spent many days running around not only the grounds, but the rooms themselves with his siblings and cousins. On a rainy day one would find the Weasley children exploring the extensive amount of rooms the manor held. When the weather was right they would be out running outside. The manor even had a fully stocked Quidditch pitch that had been installed for the original James.
Despite the very privileged lives of James and his siblings, both Harry and Ginny had made sure their children grew up to be modest. James had spent just as much time at the Burrow as he had the Potter Manor. If anything the manor was more of a place for the children to be brought to when their parents wanted to spend some time without them. They knew everybody was safe on the property and could spend time talking amongst themselves while their kids entertained themselves.
