Cole could only smile foolishly as he watched Ember perform her trick, thoroughly impressed. She really knew what she was doing. A worthy opponent for sure and when she landed gracefully in a crouch he gave her a well-deserved round of applause. "That was wicked!" he called to her and then spun around on his broom, ready to take his next turn.
He was flying higher up now and he decided to steal a bit of her trick, pushing himself up to stand upright on the broom. He had his arms stretched out to the sides, using them for balance as he was gliding through the air, the wind whipping at his face and hair. Cole then moved one of his feet under the broom handle so that the toe of his shoe was just underneath it and with a quick flick, he pushed the broom upwards with his foot. The broom was quickly thrown up to his hands and he grabbed hold. Cole was now dangling from the handle by his fingers and he smiled to himself. He'd been in this position more than once and sometimes, it hadn't been intentional. He gripped the broom tightly and then began swinging his legs back and forth, trying to get some momentum in his body. It only took a few swings before he used all of his upper body strength to fling his feet up and over the broom, not just once but twice in a row, and he flipped over the broom before landing safely back onto it.
He then nosedived down towards the ground, slowing slightly when he was close enough and jumping off, somersaulting on the cold ground before landing on his knees, arms outstretched to the sides. "Ta da!" he sang almost mockingly and then laughed at himself. "Was that dragon enough for ya?" he teased, though he had no idea what movie she was talking about, he still thought it was funny. "All you, my friend."
