"Glad you two can enjoy yourselves." Andrea mutter bitterly and Albus through an arm around the girl's shoulders, quite visibly crushing her.
"Andrea, Andrea, Andrea." Albus sighed. He pulled Maverick under his other arm, in much better spirits now, and looked to the boy again.
"I hope you brought some money with you." Albus said with a grin. His breath caught in his throat for a moment as the autumn afternoon light caught in the blue of mavericks eyes and through light off his golden locks. He was. . . beautiful. Light. Ironic really, Albus thought with a gulp, and looked away from the boy, the memory of that kiss tingling against his lips like an entire new kiss.
"C'mon." Albus said with a forced confidence as the trio set back towards the school and out of Hogsmeade. They would soon be traveling down, deep into the belly of Hogwarts. A place that wasn't quite dungeons, more like cellars were a few dozen or so other students mobbed around crab like creatures spitting venom and fire at each other, painful, often lethal blows being dealt between the two warring creatures. Within the crowd were many sweaty teens, mostly males, some without shirts, shouting and smoking and drinking and placing bets. High above the ring in a sort of cage sat Louis weasley counting money diligently and watching the ongoings. It was the best seat in the house, and that was where Albus was intended.
"Albus," Andrea sighed as the raven haired wizard rapt against a small wooden door. The door was answered by a sweaty Gryffindor who recognized Albus and ushered the three in roughly, slamming the door behind them. Albus pushed the others in front of him and up a set of narrow stairs to their very left. The dangerous stairway lead up and around the room towards the metal holding cage holding Louis Weasley. Rattling the metal, the fiery headed Ravenclaw grunted and waved a dismissive hand for them to enter. Albus pushed open the door merrily and was immediately at the edge looking out into the madness below.
"Andrea." Louis greeted before those dark eyes, identical to Albus' fell on Maverick. He didn't mention the rude send off that had transpired between the two upon their first meeting but the tension was there.
"You need anything? Drinks? Smokes?" Louis asked completely serious, as the cigarette in his opposite hand dropped ash onto the mess of papers in front of him, most of which contained numbers and symbols only Louis understood.
"He would offer women, but no need when we have Andrea." Albus called over his shoulder. Louis shot the girl an apologetic glance but Andrea wasn't fazed, not anymore.
"If you're set, I have work to do. We don't take bets less than ten galleons." Louis said to Maverick, his mouth already tired. The Ravenclaw was quiet, he needn't usually talk this much.
