"Knowledge is Power" & "I am the condor."
Wand: Fir and Dragon Heartstring, 10 1/2 inches
Fir Wand Wood: "Wands of fir wood are coined by Ollivander’s grandfather as 'the survivor’s wand,' because he had sold it to three wizards who subsequently passed through mortal peril unscathed. There is no doubt that this wood, coming from the most resilient of trees, produces wands that demand staying power and strength of purpose in their owners, and that they are poor tools in the hands of the wishy-washy and indecisive. “Fir wands are particularly suited to transfiguration, and favor owners of focused, strong-minded and, occasionally, intimidating demeanor."

Appearance: Scorpius has blond hair just like his father, though not as fair. He also shares his piercing, gray eyes, often narrowed into a cold glare and inheriting his haughty, good looks. Scorpius keeps himself very pristine, his clothes are never seen wrinkled and are expensively custom tailored, shoes shined, tie done up and he walks briskly, with purpose and sits stiffly with excellent posture, evidence of good breeding. Scorpius has a chilling aura about him, he's the strong, silent type and this puts many people on edge with his intimidating demeanor. He rarely smiles much these days, entering that broody teenager phase where he despises all things and is generally miserable, though when he does smile he has his mother, Astoria's radiant grin that could light up a room with its warmth. He looks very boyish and handsome when he smiles.
Personality: Scorpius is the first Malfoy in ages to be sorted to any house but Slytherin, although he almost got put there. Scorpius chose Ravenclaw house for himself, believing that knowledge is power and being an ambitious boy he knew the social stigma and prejudice that came along with Slytherin these days so he rejected it, going against his roots and instead maturely thought of his future. It would be far more advantageous to him if he was placed in Ravenclaw, he could find a job at the Ministry much more easily and also manipulate his peers like pawns, if they saw him as one of their own, they would be far more accepting of him than if he were a snake they were raised to despise. All in all it was wiser for Scorpius, son of a former Death Eater, to lay low and act humble, redeeming respect for his family by going to a different Hogwarts house. It would help to show the community that the Malfoy's were indeed reformed.
Scorpius is a Slytherclaw at heart, he's unnaturally ambitious, sly, cunning, intelligent, inventive and witty. Possessing key traits that both houses value in their pupils. Scorpius values knowledge, though only because to him he sees knowledge as power. The smarter you are the more you can achieve and the more people will follow in your footsteps, if they believe you wiser than themselves, they will trust that you know best.
The young Malfoy heir isn't all about deceit and manipulation though, to very few people whom he considers his true friends he can be quite pleasant and mild, as they often see an entirely different side of him. Scorpius is shy, having not taken after his father in his confidence, arrogance and egotistical nature. He is much more humble and down to earth, he doesn't hold any prejudices against muggleborns, because his mum raised him to be better than that. He doesn't try to flaunt his wealth and bully those less fortunate, though just because he's not a bully doesn't mean he's nice. Scorpius Malfoy is definitely not a nice boy. He despises ignorance and sloth. He surrounds himself with people he sees useful whom show potential to go on and do great things, just like him. He doesn't base this assessment purely on wealth and lineage, he judges people by their strength of character rather than their roots. Scorpius has a dry, sarcastic sense of humor, but still, appreciates a good laugh. He's witty, allowing him to come up with biting insults. He is very studious, a bit of a workaholic and is serious and stony in appearance. Though, he enjoys having fun every once in a while and doing normal teenage things. His best aspect is that he's understanding, a good listener who will not pass judgement unless he deems you deserve it and a loyal friend.
Favorite Subjects: Potions, History of Magic, and Defense Against the Dark Arts.
Least Favorite Subjects: Herbology, he doesn't enjoy getting dirty nor bitten by a temperamental plant, Divination, considering the class completely barmy, and Care of Magical Creatures, he's not very fond of animals unless it would somehow benefit for him to be. For example, he would take the time to bow curtly and show humility towards a Hippogryff if he needed to ride it, otherwise he'd want nothing to do with the bloody chicken.
History: Scorpius is the only son of Draco and Astoria, his father was in Slytherin and was branded with the dark mark while he was still in school, his mother was in Ravenclaw, much younger and not as close to the war, though still affected by it. Scorpius would have turned out like an arrogant, spoilt prat, just like his father, if it wasn't for his mother's kind influence. She taught him to be morally better than his dad and so they disagree on some views like that Slytherin is the only respectable house and that muggleborns and muggles are inferior. Objectively speaking, muggles are inferior, unable to perform magic but that doesn't mean they should be eliminated or treated poorly. Scorpius shares more neutral views, not really caring much either way but definitely not spewing prejudice ignorance which would be expected of any Malfoy heir. The only thing Scorpius and his father do share in common is their love of Quidditch, attending the World Cup each year and bonding, ambitious drive, sharp wit and cunning, and a dislike of Gyffindors due to them being self-righteous gits and far too foolhardy and recklessly brave for Scorpius' preference. He considers them all a lot of tossers.
Growing up Scorpius was spoiled, coming from a wealthy family he got most anything he wanted. Therefore he's a tad bit arrogant but isn't nearly as outwardly boastful about his wealth as his father had been in his days at Hogwarts. Deep down Scorpius feels torn inside, struggling to become the good man his mother wants him to be and struggling with what he feels he's destined to become, a dark wizard, just like all the Malfoy men. He has a coldness in him that scares him for he doesn't want to hurt anyone, he doesn't want to disappoint his mum, but he will, without a doubt, do whatever it takes to get to the top and is willing to play dirty if it means succeeding.
Parents: Astoria Greengrass and Draco Malfoy.
Siblings: None. Scorpius is an only child.
