The Hufflepuff Common Room is located in the basement, it is accessed by tapping in correct succession a stack of oak barrels to the tune of 'Hel-ga-Huff-le-puff'. Once inside the common room is quite sunny despite being underground, with rectangular windows with a view of tall blades of grass and yellow dandelions swaying gently in the breeze. There are many vines and lush plants scattered about, some of them exotic since the Head of House also teaches Herbology. There's a grand fire place with comfortable couches and arm chairs scattered around it along with desks at which badgers can do their homework. The doors leading to the dormitories are round and made of oak, giving it a tunnel like effect.

The Hufflepuff Common Room is just a few steps away from the kitchens, accesssed by tickling the pear on a painting of a bowl of fruit. A hidden door opens to reveal the grand, Hogwarts kitchens, littered with busy house elves scurrying about, preparing meals.

This is the Potions Classroom where students learn of common and not so common magical ingredients, brewing draughts and elixirs. There are many work stations set up around the room, on top of each one are four pewter caldrons open for students to use but they are welcomed to bring their own.

This is where the Potions Professor stores all his or her ingredients in dusty, glass phials. It's narrowed and cramped with shelves extending vertically. There's a ladder to reach the topmost shelves.

This is the Slytherin Common Room, it's a little dark and a little cold but comfortable so long as the hearth is always lit and crackling warmly. It is adorned in sleek, leather couches, arm chairs and a few desks where students can do their homework. Tall windows give a scenic view to the gloomy depths of the Black Lake and sometimes one can witness the Giant Squid swimming casually by.
