Wand Wood Description:
Dogwood wands are quirky and mischievous; they have playful natures and insist upon partners who can provide them with amusement and fun. Though that does not mean that dogwood wands are not capable of serious magic when called upon to do so; they have been known to perform rather outstanding spells under very difficult conditions, and when paired with a clever and sharp-minded witch or wizard, can produce dazzling enchantments.

Appearance: Long dark brown curly hair and hazel eyes that match her brother's. She gets her petite figure from her mother, along with her olive skin tone.

Personality: Abby has a sort of spikey personality, although she is very caring. Like her brother, she has trust issues but isn’t as well put together as he is and her trusting issues aren’t nearly as bad as his. She is very social and likes to make friends but her trust issues can put a damper on her relationships. Because of her past, Abby has a pretty good judge of character and will gladly voice her opinion of you to anybody. She is rebellious and doesn’t enjoy being told what to do, although coming to Hogwarts has helped that issue some. She still likes to disobey and gets caught out after curfew a lot. She would be extremely smart, like her brother, if she applied herself to her schoolwork but she just doesn’t put the effort in. She likes being in trouble because it draws attention to herself, which is something she didn’t have while growing up.

Favorite Subjects: Herbology and Astronomy

Least Favorite Subjects: Muggle Studies and History of Magic

What He/She Loves: Music and playing it, springtime and watching Quidditch but not playing.

What He/She Hates: Snobs, liars and manipulators.

History: Parents are both muggle lawyers who own their own law firm smack dab in the middle of the city. The Kane's had no knowledge of the Wizarding World until their son got his letter. Abigayle and her brother were very fortunate growing up, being spoiled by their parents, although they didn't see them very often because of their long work hours. The Kane siblings spent most of their childhood with a nanny, only seeing their parents in the evening if they stayed up past their bedtimes. Mr and Mrs Kane loved their children but had a hard time showing it. As they grew up, Spencer started caring for his sister when their parents weren't home and they became extremely close. Abby often rebelled against her parents because of their frequent absence. She blamed them for what happened to Spencer. Both children were both considered weird in their schools and didn't really have any friends because of it. When Spencer got his Hogwarts letter, both parents were thoroughly surprised, but supported their son and his abilities. Abby was jealous but two years later, she got her own letter and joined her brother at Hogwarts.
