What color are their eyes, hair and skin? : Piercing, bright blue eyes, light blonde hair that hangs down past his ears, almost to his shoulders, pale skin. Broad shouldered, extremely tall and incredibly muscular.

How do they dress? : Usually in dark colors – jeans, t-shirts and a black leather jacket.

Do they wear makeup? : No.

Do they resemble any family members? : He doesn’t know anyone in his family, just his mother and he had no recollection of what she looked like.

What is their best physical feature? : He has a fantastic smile that is genuine and handsome when he shows it – something he doesn’t do often.

What is their most flawed physical feature? : If he had to choose it would be his broad shoulders and his height. Sometimes he feels like he’s too big for everything.

-FAMILY INFORMATION-

Where are they from? : Queensland, Australia

Describe their past history : Tobias was born in Brisbane, one of the most popular coastal cities in Australia. He was raised by his mother until he was three years old until she left him on the doorstep of a children’s home and he never saw her again. The woman left him with a small note card tucked in his jacket pocket with the name Tobias Smith written in neat cursive and a leather cord around his neck that had pendant attached. He never knew what the intricate design on the pendant stood for but he has never taken it off – it was the only thing he had of his birth mother. He keeps the note card in the pocket of his leather jacket.

Luckily he was old enough to know that he was three years old and that his birthday was on Christmas, other than that, everything was a blank slate. St. Theresa’s Home for Children was directed by a group of nuns and the home was located in an old church. The sisters were cruel and forced their beliefs upon the children who lived there. They weren’t allowed to speak unless spoken to and they were only fed certain amounts of food during the day, leaving most of them starving. They were required to attend daily classes that taught them how to read, write and the basic etiquette and they also were forced to learn about the bible and the Catholic beliefs. Tobias had a hard time going along with everything the sister’s forced upon him. As he grew older, he often rebelled against the nuns, sneaking into the pantry late at night and stealing food for the younger children who were so hungry they could barely move. He asked questions and spoke out of turn and one time was even caught burning the bible foyer fireplace. These actions earned himself daily punishments that consisted of belt whippings, paddle beatings or being locked in a closet for a whole day.

Tobias grew hateful and angry and he had no other outlet for it than to fight. He often fought with the older boys who also lived in the home and got his ass beat several times, but it allowed him to release his anger in some form, despite the fact that he’d get a black eye or bruised rib because of it. He cared for no one except himself and one other person, a little girl who had become his only friend while living in the home – Natalie. She was two years younger than him and he cared for her more than anything, even himself. One day, before he left for Hogwarts, she was adopted by a lovely family and he never saw her again.

When he went to Hogwarts, he was actually excited. He enjoyed his classes throughout his seven years and made a few friends but none that were as significant as Natalie He remained closed off from everyone and maintained his cold personality. After becoming an extremely good dueler from years of practicing in the DADA classroom after hours, he decided that he wanted to become an Auror. The idea of protecting people was something that hit close to home for him, because he had done that before in the church. Once he was graduated from Hogwarts, he immediately began Auror training and soon joined the ranks of the Aurors within the Department of Magical Law Enforcement or the Ministry.

Do they have siblings? : Not that he knows of.

Do they have any children? : No.

Is their any history of mental illness in their family : Unknown.

-PERSONAL INFORMATION-

What do they hate? : Religion, when people don’t finish their food, small spaces (from constantly being locked in a broom closet when he was a child).

What do they love? : Anything to have to do with working out – something that allows him to release all of his pent up anger. He has a large punching bag hanging from the ceiling of his small flat that he uses every night.

What can they not live without? : His wand.

Have they ever been in love? : No. He may have been in love with Natalie had they grown up together but he was only ten when he last saw her so he doesn’t know.

What is their most traumatic memory? : One night, he and Natalie were caught out after their curfew. It was right before she was adopted, he was ten, she was eight. The sisters tied Tobias to a chair and forced him to watch as they whipped Natalie with a belt. They then did the same thing to her while he was whipped. Afterwards the nuns stripped them of their shirts and branded them with a cross on their right shoulders, hoping it would help make them more righteous and pure and less rebellious. Natalie’s screams and cries are still etched into his brain and he almost hyperventilates when he thinks about it.

What is their happiest memory? : Leaving the children’s home for good. He never had to go back there once he went to Hogwarts, during the summers he stayed in a boarding house in Diagon Alley.

Describe their personality : Tobias is very cold and closed-off. He doesn’t speak much and takes his job very seriously. He is very direct and doesn’t like to be bullshitted or toyed with. Very assertive and demanding, and very cunning and intelligent, making him a useful Auror. He knows how to control his emotions and often has a stone face that is unchanging, making sure to never give anything away. He hardly smiles or laughs and tends to avoid people like the plague but he can be very compassionate and brave. He has a huge, empty heart that nobody can see behind the mask that he’s worked so hard to put up. Tobias is fueled by his anger and he often has to turn to the punching bag in his flat to relieve his frustrations. He is daring and isn’t afraid to take risks, even if they may be dangerous.

What would be a stranger's first impression of them? : Intimidating, like they wouldn’t want to mess with him and angry. Kind of an asshole.

How would you, the writer, describe them? : Just like above, only that he actually has emotions that he can’t control as well when he’s not around others. He wants to be good, but he’s constantly afraid that he will fail if he doesn’t stay focused. He’s broken and he knows it, even though he hides it so well.

Any special magical abilities? : Extremely skilled duelist.

Any special skills? : Incredibly strong and very good in hand to hand combat, though it’s hardly ever needed in the magical world. But when he’s drunk in muggle pubs it comes in handy.

Was school a good time for them? Describe their school life : He mainly kept to himself. Others didn’t mess with him because of his size that only grew as he got older. He enjoyed his classes, especially DADA where he learned his dueling skills from and where he was able to spend endless hours perfecting them.

Did they have a lot of friends? : Just a few ‘friends’ but none that he still keeps in touch with.
