How do they dress? : At home with her children, the mother of six dresses casually in muggle jeans and t-shirts, but when out or at a party, she dresses to the nines in the pureblood robes she was raised in. She does enjoy muggle fashion though so occasionally one might find her sporting a figure flattering cocktail dress, always in black of course and designer.

What is their most flawed physical feature? : Matilda would say her nose finding it to long, or her hips thinking their too large but after watching his wife birth six children, her husband doesn't see any flaws.
-FAMILY INFORMATION-
Where are they from? : LaCoitat, France but her family moved to England while she was in muggle boarding school so her brother could attend Hogwarts.
Describe their past history : As a child, Matilda did not spend much time with her family, and to be quite frank, she would have preferred even less. Being a squib, her parents and family members were utterly revolted and at age eleven when it become painfully obvious the sixth child would not be displaying any forms of magic, sent her to a boarding school in LaCoitat, France at Madame Guilhey's Academy for Girls. Meanwhile, her family, though french born was residing in London so that their magical children could attend Hogwarts.
In the few instances Matilda was home for school recesses and suspensions, she was severely abused and neglected. Her father was a cruel man, partially crazed leading many to believe, even his wife that he suffered from the all too familiar madness that plagued noble pureblooded family like the Dumere's. He was power hungry and bitterly cold, seeking out only what he could use for himself. A lot of his hatred for Matilda was found on the belief that she could offer her family nothing as no one would want to marry a squib rather than her actually being with out magic. In his madness though, her father would often severely punish his children using upon them crucios and unforgivables, there was even a rumor in the family that the eldest son, Dominiq did not run away as was assumed but was in fact punished to death by his father.
Needless to say, Matilda detested her time at home, the worst of it being when she was younger and her father would punish her close to death as to try to force magic out of her, even at one point nearly drowning the girl in a bath tub. Luckily he was stopped by Matilda's brother Jasic and her mother. It was the only half way noble thing she ever recalled her spineless, submissive mother ever doing.
This abuse Matilda suffered from at home caused her to act out and form a hard, vile shell around herself. She hated nothing more than people being able to get satisfaction from her pain like her father so she did her best to be unresponsive, and even occasionally instagative pushing others to do their worst. She acted out, often violently, trashing school property and fighting not only with others but herself. The few friends she did have were bad influences, often a few years older than her, wealthy, and with easy access to alcohol and drugs. Matilda was heading down a dark path much to the dismay of her brother Jasic, the only one in her family that wrote to her and cared for her as family should.
When she was sixteen though, Matilda hit her lowest point. She had grown severely depressed and was extremely self destructive, even leaving the during her breaks to go party with nearly complete strangers. Jasic tried to stop her but for all his love and sweetness, couldn't take it upon himself to deny his sister anything. It was his long time friends, Anthony Scarbore, a silly, goofy, some would even say dull boy who summoned the back bone to do anything. Having for a long time been in love with his best mates sister, he was furious when he heard what she was doing to herself. He forced Jasic to tell him where Matilda was and charged into the muggle party, found her, and took her away against her will. Unfortunately Matilda had taken a lot of pills that night and nearly OD'd. Anthony took her to a muggle hospital to get her stomach pumped and be taken care of. Anthony cared for the expenses, not wanting to anger her father and told no one but Jasic. Anthony stayed with Matilda through the whole ordeal, with her mood swings and often violent out bursts.
When the time came for Matilda to return to school in France, the recently graduated Anthony Scarbore went as well, claiming that he was interning at the French Ministry of Magic. No one had cared for Matilda like Anthony did and she craved the attention and compassion that seemed to weep from his very pores. Before she knew it, she was head over heels and he was beginning to fill the hole inside of her left by her family, though she never entirely got over her depression or reconciled with her family. Matilda finally agreed to date Anthony after much insistence in his part, upon graduation and they married after she became a nurse, graduating from University. They went on to have six children together and raised them in a large home in the English countryside.

Describe their personality : Matilda is a strict, stubborn, determined individual. She's a fierce protector of her family and while a bit frosty has a large heart as well as a lot of compassion and understanding gained from being a mother.

How would you, the writer, describe them? : Matilda has a hard shell do to her childhood and a lot of skeletons in her closet but she has a lot of love, On the inside she's a real softy and no one knows this better than her husband.
