"Well wouldn't it be better to break in front of a stranger rather than someone close to you." Julien said turning now to look at the snowball fight as well though this certainly didn't mean he was giving up.
"It's ironic really, how fragile everything gets the closer it moves to you and how everything so far away is solid." He continued, "The people closest to you are the most affected by your actions. Its like surrounding yourself with rings of glass bottles, one wrong move, one step out of place and you'll brake one. Think about how easily you can hurt someone your close to. So people generally tip toe around trying to keep everyone they love intact, mean while everything is solid the farther it is away. They don't know you, your actions are only something they can have opinions on and excluding an act of violence can rarely hurt them." Julien stopped breathing in the cold winter air before looking to the girl again his words still painfully considerate sounding despite having no true feelings for the beautiful girl beside him.
"I won't care what you've done or what you're going through," He told her, his voice still slightly warm which almost seemed perverse with the careful words the fell from his lips like rain from storm clouds. "I won't care if you can't keep it together, so why shouldn't you use me to vent?"
"If you annoy me," Julien said, "Then I still won't care. We won't see each other again. It's not hard, this is the first time we've met after all."
