Describe their past history : Evangeline is the daughter of Edward West and Jazmine Émile. Her father had been a young student taking a year of study in France, her mother a beautiful native. They met in Lyon, where Evangeline was raised. Edward returned to London after only a few months of dating and the couple broke up. Shortly after, Jazmine learned she was pregnant. She neglected to tell Edward for fear of ruining his future. Evangeline was born and raised in her mother's hometown of Lyon, where they lived with Evangeline's grandmother. She had a happy childhood, growing up being taught both English and French. Unfortunately, her mother died in a house fire when Evangeline was 8. Her grandmother, too old to care for the girl herself, sent her to London to live with Edward. Edward was shocked when he learned of her existence. Since leaving Jazmine, he had become a successful architect, marrying and starting his own family. Fortunately, he and his wife, Shelby, warmly welcomed Evangeline into their family. It was there that Evangeline began to show signs of magic. Coincidentally, Shelby was a halfblood witch. She knew exactly what Evangeline was experiencing, questioning Edward intently on the girl's mother before determining that she was a muggleborn. Shelby informed Evangeline on the world of magic and the two grew close. Shelby adopted Evangeline when she was 10 making her legally her daughter. When she was 11, her letter to Hogwarts arrived. Evangeline started school, though a muggleborn, well informed on what was going on. Still, nothing beat her first sight of the castle. Since then, Evangeline has gone through school doing well in her classes and making several good friends.

What's their most traumatic memory? : The fire. She was trapped inside for what felt like hours, though it was only a matter of minutes. She remembers jumping out of a window a crashing to the ground. What made it worse was learning that her mother had died.

Describe their personality : If a person asked Evangeline what her best trait is, she would say her intelligence. She's always had a particular gift in learning material. This is partially thanks to her photographic memory. Evangeline is very kind. She has a constant urge to help people. She has a natural curiosity and a dream to travel. She has a slightly adventurous side, though this is mostly fueled by her curiosity.
Describe their personality flaws : Evangeline is very shy and soft-spoken. She has a harder time making friends because of this. She's not very good at expressing her emotions, instead keeping it bottled up until she explodes.

Roleplaying Sample: Evangeline set her barefoot outside of the entrance to the common room. The stone floor was cool causing her to wiggle her toes slightly. She crawled out the rest of the way, wrapping the blanket she had snagged on her way out more closely around her body. She laughed slightly to herself. 'My first night back at Hogwarts and I'm already out of bed." She wandered down the corridor until she found the source of the clangs. A house elf. The creature looked shocked at having been caught, it's tea cozy caught on one of the suits of armor. She gave it a warm smile, quickly helping it out. "Hello I'm Evangeline."
