What color are their eyes, hair and skin? :

For not having the same father (aside from Aster and Michael), the Versailles siblings look quite astonishingly alike for the most part. Michael is the only one out of the lot with hair cut shorter because apparently ‘looking like a semi-rocker-hippie’ is out. They all have brown eyes except for Dina-May, hers are blue. Aster, Michael, and Dynasty all share similar brown hair while Carval’s is dirty blond, and Dina-May likes to pretend that hers is actually blonde.

How do they dress? :

Dina-May likes to wear anything that shows a little cleavage and super short skirts or tight jeans. She’s a girly-girl, so lots of jewelry all the time is a must. The boys don’t care much about what they wear, so they usually just chill out in old band t-shirts and jeans. However, Dynasty can usually be found wearing a collared button up.

Do they wear makeup? :

Only Dina-May and only in the proper amounts. She likes to look natural but play up her eyes.

Dina-May is the only one who really looks like their mother. The boys resembled their little sister, Noxie, quite a bit.

What is their best physical feature? :

Aster and Carval are impossibly fond of their beards. Michael will gladly flex his biceps for you if you ask. Dina-May is in love with almost every bit of herself and Dynasty thinks his hair is pretty awesome.

What is their most flawed physical feature? :

Aster is not fond of the fact that he’s starting to look older and has a couple of wrinkles now. Michael wishes his knees were a bit less knobbly. Dynasty can’t stand when his facial hair grows in, he’s the only one who gets more neck beard than anything else. Dina-May will tell you her nose is just awful. Carval has constantly chewed at finger nails.

-FAMILY INFORMATION-

Where are they from? :

Just east of Middlesbrough, England, near the coast.

Describe their past history :

The Versailles family has quite the past, mainly due to their mother’s antics from the time she was young. Aster was born when Francine was just barely considered an adult. The marriage between her and his father lasted a good four years, during which Michael was also born. After a spat between the two adults, their father left, never to be seen again and Francine started getting deeper into some things she’d merely dabbled in before the break up. Several boyfriends later, Dina-May made her way into the mix. Excited about having her first girl, Francine actually parented her children for the first year of her daughter’s life before she got overwhelmed and fell back into her old ways. Dynasty made his way into the world, quickly followed by Carval. They thought she was done and she was, for about seven years until their little sister, Noxienia came along.

By the time Noxie became part of the family, Aster had gotten used to being saddled with looking after his younger siblings. He made sure they had lunches for school, the bills were mostly paid, and the baby didn’t get left home alone, even if he had to tote her along to his classes. The actual wonder is how none of them ever got taken away by the government. Despite growing up in a strained household, the Versailles kids made out pretty well for themselves in the long run. Aster now has a full time job as a construction worker and his own place. Michael and Dynasty are roommates with jobs at the same shop. Dina-May spends her days being a barista and her nights partying, though she usually crashes on one of her siblings’ couches or at her mother’s apartment. Carval works with Aster but lives with their mother and Noxie, making sure both are safe.

Aside from each other, Noxienia Versailles. It’s also highly possible they have half-siblings on their dads’ sides that they don’t know about.

Not really. Sometimes their mother makes them wonder though.

-PERSONAL INFORMATION-

What do they hate? :

Aster: people who are too lazy to work for what they want, cold, not being able to pay bills, parents who don’t look after their children.
Michael: Overbearing people, having long hair, people assuming he’s gay just because he likes to look good.
Dina-May: Working too much, not having a boyfriend/girlfriend, dieting.
Dynasty: Not being able to take long naps, superglue, being told to get a significant other even though he has no desire for one at the moment.
Carval: People who take advantage of others, his mother, anyone who thinks they’re better than someone else based upon insignificant things.

What do they love? :

Aster: Being able to say he has extra left for more than just food in his paycheck, being with his siblings, and cooking.
Michael: Working out, looking at ladies, and beating Aster at chess.
Dina-May: Going out with her friends, drinking, having lots of dates.
Dynasty: Reading, spending time with his family, eating food.
Carval: Dancing, being goofy, skateboarding, and taunting his brothers.

What can they not live without? :

Eachother for the most part. They’ve learned to live without a lot of things, but being together has always been the one constant they could rely on.

Have they ever been in love? :

Aster has had several long term girlfriends that didn’t work out.
Michael claims to currently be in a relationship but has yet to prove it.
Dina-May is in love so often it’s hard to count.
Dynasty has had a couple of girlfriends, but no real interest in keeping them.
Carval gets crushes but doesn’t have what it takes to actually start the conversation in that direction.

What is their most traumatic memory? :

Once upon a time, Francine decided she was going to be a mother to her six children. It lasted a full week until she was carrying baby Noxie down the stairs, tripped, and dropped her. Noxie whacked her head going down and didn’t even cry. The amount of blood on the baby’s head scared the lot of them to the point where they thought they were going to lose her. Thankfully, it turned out to be nothing more than a superficial cut, but it was still quite frightening. They never figured out that the reason the baby didn’t cry was because, aside from the initial whack, she bounced the rest of the way down.

What is their happiest memory? :

There was this one time when there was a gorgeous meteor shower. They all went up to the roof of the building and laid out on blankets, just staring up at the sky all night. It was during the summer, so it wasn’t too cold. The meteors shooting by were magnificent.

Describe their personality :

Aster is the strong type. He works hard and always pushes forward to be the best he can for his family. He doesn’t take ’I can’t’ as a reasonable excuse. He is ever caring, and always there when the people he loves need him most.

Michael is quite outgoing, making friends easily and spending a lot of time with them and Dynasty. He can be a bit of a butthead, but he’s a pretty decent guy otherwise.
Dina-May can actually be a bit judgmental. She doesn’t like people easily unless she can get something from them, which means she is the most like their mother. However, unlike their mother, she does care about the people she likes and would rather not ever seen anyone get hurt.

Dynasty is the smart one. He enjoys reading and spends most of his time studying, but he’s always up for a good laugh or hanging out with his family so long as it doesn’t get in the way of his trying to get into college.

Carval is kind of a smartass. He’s a goofball with a potty mouth who is always trying to make people laugh. He is very much attached to all of his siblings, but is closer to Aster and Noxienia. He also has some anger issues in which he tends to break things when he can’t handle it anymore.

What would be a stranger's first impression of them? :

Aster: Hardworking, not too bright, could probably use a shave and to cut his hair.
Michael: Works out a lot, the kind of guy you could be really good friends with.
Dina-May: A bit on the flighty, flirty side, but very pretty. Seems like she’d be kind of a bitch.
Dynasty: Quiet, but probably intelligent. He would probably be difficult to make friends with unless you tired really hard.
Carval: Super funny and personable, very relaxed and easy to be around.

How would you, the writer, describe them? :

Aster is the rock of the family. He gets stuff done that the others might put off. Sometimes he would really like to relax, but can’t because then he feels like he’s failing.

Michael has underestimated intelligence. He’s actually a bit of an asshole, but he really is a great guy and would actually make a really good husband or father given the chance.

Dina-May isn’t as confident in herself as she likes to think. She struggles with the idea that she is very much like her mother and does not like that side of herself. She works hard not to fall into the same category as Francine.

Dynasty could really become something with a push in the right direction. He is super smart, however, he could use some work on his social skills.

Carval is actually a bit more of a deep thinker than he lets on. He appears quite happy most of the time, but he’s also actually a worrier.

No, they’re muggles.

Aster and Carval are both excellent at talking people down and getting them calm when they’re freaking out, which probably explains why they are the closest to their little sister.

It was alright. It wasn’t really the best of schools. Lots of bad activity in a bad neighborhood. They all did pretty decent, though Carval could have worked harder and Dynasty could have worked less.

Yes, all except Dynasty. He tended to stick to himself for the most part.
