Where are they from? : London, England
Describe their past history : Unlike his father, Fred was a serious minded child. It became apparent very quickly that Fred disliked George's sense of humor. Peek-a-boo and being shuck up on only made him cry loudly and for long periods. Fred hated being at the Joke shop, despite George's efforts to get Fred to enjoy some of the toys and jokes. Fred liked his play broom and his mother's more educational toys, but shunned his father's more fanciful and witty offerings.
Fred grew up on stories of the Second War. His father never talked about it much, but his Uncle Ron loved recounting his heroic deeds. As a young child, Fred would spend as much time over at his Uncle's house as he could, playing with his cousins and listening to Uncle Ron's stories. The Ministry Battle between the Death Eaters and the six members of Dumbledore's Army for the Prophecy was one of his favorites. He idolized his Uncle, and people like Neville Longbottom, Luna Lovegood, and his Aunt Ginny were his heroes. His father was quite concerned with young Fred's fascination. The deep personal loss George had suffered left him never quite whole, and he thought Ron glamorized the war to an alarming extent, especially with his son. George tried to counter Ron's influence on his son by emphasizing the horrible losses the Order of the Phoenix suffered, but all this did was fire Fred's imagination all the more, martyrs dying a heroic death for a cause worth fighting for. Eventually, George gave up, and contented himself with teaching Fred how to play Quidditch, which Fred showed quite a talent for, though as a Chaser rather than a Beater like his father.
As Fred grew, he became more and more set on becoming an Auror like his Uncle Ron, much to his fathers worry. He started playing Aurors and Death Eaters with his cousins and other children, always taking the part of the Auror. Eventually, the other kids stopped playing that particular game with him, due to Fred constantly changing the rules so the Auror's always won. Eventually they all just played Quidditch, since the rules for that game were set in stone long ago. George encouraged his son along this path, hoping Fred would choose to follow after his mother than his uncle, but Fred's determination remained.
When George and Angelina took Fred to get his school supplies for his first day at Hogwarts, The first thing they did was go to buy Fred his first wand. It took a very short time to find the one that chose him, one of Aspen and Dragon heartstring, 9 Inches. While Fred became fascinated with his new acquisition, he overheard Ollivander explaining to his parents that Aspen wood wand owners were destined to be duelists, and that those talents should be encouraged. Fred perked up with wild fantasies of being the best duelist ever, defeating and capturing Dark Wizards and becoming the greatest Auror since Old Mad-Eye Moody. When theyleft the shop, fired by his imagination, Fred managed to escape their watchful eyes and run off to Knockturn Alley, where his parents had told him never to go because it was "a place of darkness". He sought out the first wizard he saw there, and challenged him to a duel. The other wizard did not take kindly to this, even though all that came out of Fred's wand were harmless red sparks. The other wizard lashed out at Fred, leaving him unconscious and bleeding from several sword like wounds in Fred's chest. The wizard obliterated all memories of his face and build from Fred's mind, but left the memories of the event intact to teach Fred a lesson he would not soon forget. George an Angelina found him some time later, and in a fit of panic, took him to St. Mungoe's. The wounds were able to be healed, but they left nasty scars all across Fred's chest that would never heal fully.
Fred learned his lesson all too well. He became more determined, almost obsessed, with becoming an Auror, and expecially to discover the identity of his attacker. At the first opportunity while at Hogwarts, he asked what he would need to get in order to become one, and threw himself completely into those subjects, all but ignoring the ones that would not help him. He either got an O in a class due to his hard work and dedication to the subject, or D's and T's in the subjects that he had to take but were not required to become an Auror. He got an O on his OWL's for Potions, DADA, Transmutation, Charms, and Herbology, and promptly dropped any of the other subjects when he could. His single minded focus became almost an obsession, and he would let nothing stand in the way of it. He gets his grades through lots of hard work, rather than inborn smarts, as he is only average in that department.
Convincing himself it was to learn better how to defend against it, Fred began intensive study into the Dark Arts on the sly, using a combination of access to the Forbidden Section in the Library, to a few trips to Knockturn Alley to deal with shady characters while telling his parents he was with other friends. He doesn't like using these spells and insights, but he does know about them, as he does not believe you can fight against something you have never experienced yourself. This has lead his attitude down a darker path than the rest of his family, and he is perfectly willing to use Dark Magic if it's for the cause of capturing or destroying Dark Wizards.
Who are their parents : Geroge Weasley and Angelina Johnson
Do they have any siblings? : His younger sister Roxanne
Is their any history of mental illness in their family? : No
-PERSONAL INFORMATION-
What do they love? : Quidditch, a good duel, and his mother's team, who he always routes for.
What do they hate? : Dark Wizards and Dark Magic
Have they ever loved anyone in a romantic way? : Yes, he fell in love with one of his teachers, though he has never mentioned it to anyone but his closest friend at the time.
What's their most traumatic memory? : Being assaulted by a Dark Wizard when he was 11, and never being able to recall any detail of what that monster looks like. If he dwells too much on it, it can drive him to a terrible headache and an angry mood for days.
What's their happiest memory? : Watching his mother play Quidditch for the first time.
Describe their personality : Serious, driven, and on the verge of obsession. Fred is determined to prove that he has what it takes to be an auror, and that, unlike his father, he is more than a prankster and a joker. This serious nature means that Fred is often at odds with his father, though they do love each other and are not estranged. He is a jock, loving a good game of quidditch almost as much as a good duel, and he does his best to stay in shape physically as well as magically. Al that being said, when his friends can get him to relax, he does have the same easy going charm that his father had at that age, and can laugh at a good joke so long as it's not his father's ridiculous joke shop fair.
Describe their personality flaws : He is willing to do anything it takes to achieve his goals, no matter the personal cost, or the cost to those around him. Even though he gets exceptional grades in the subjects he wishes too, he tends to look down on those who choose brain over brawn.
What would a stranger's first impression of them be? : Serious and intense, but likeable. He reserves his hatred for dark wizards, so he can get along with those who are not associated with the dark arts.
How would you, the writer, describe them? : His obsession could easily be his downfall, especially if he goes too far in his study of the Dark Arts. When you look into the abyss, it stares back, and you are more likely to be changed by it than you are to defeat it.
Any special magical abilities? :
Dueling, Quidditch, Dark Magic, Defense Against the Dark Arts, non-verbal casting
Any special skills? :
Hard work and focus,
Writer's Name: Imbeni
Roleplaying Sample: Fred caught the quaffle and wove his way around the other team's defenses expertly. A bludger came out of nowhere, and would have knocked him from his broom if he hadn't rolled over and continued on his way. Just him and the Keeper now. Fred faked left, and the Keeper bought it, and Fred threw the Quaffle through the right hoop. He then followed the quaffle through it and did a victory lap around the frustrated Keeper.
"What else you got, you pansy?" he shouted in high spirits. "I practically faked you out of your shorts!!!"
