NAME : Roxanne 'Roxy' Weasley
AGE : 16
BIRTHDAY : November 24th, 2005
ORIENTATION : Straight
RELATIONSHIP STATUS : Single
BLOOD STATUS : Pureblood
What color are their eyes, hair, and skin? : Roxy has deep brown eyes, Auburn colored hair, and light brown skin
How do they dress? : As colorfully as possible. Roxy hates just blending in wearing muted colors. She prefers bright blues, greens, and yellows. She even colors her nails with different colors on each finger every day, just to stay different. Magic makes this an easy thing to do
Do they like the way they look? : Roxy LOVES the way she looks, and the way she makes herself look. She's no narcissist, but she has no problem with her looks on the whole. She has a slim, athletic build meant for a seeker, and the fact that she's on the short side just means she can keep playing that position indefinitely.
Height? : 5'2"
Do they resemble any family member? : No, Roxy has a very unique look that is a mixture of her father and mother.
What is their best physical feature? : Roxy's eyes are actually brown, but a dark enough brown that in all low to middle level lighting conditions, they appear black. There is a depth and intelligence behind her eyes that belies her normal happy-go-lucky, leaf in the wind attitude.
What is their most flawed physical feature? : Roxy has slightly crooked teeth, which she refuses to fix. She thinks they add character.
Where are they from? : London, England
Describe their past history : Roxy is in almost every way her father's daughter. From a young age, Roxy laughed and played with the toys and items George would bring home from the joke shop, loving the bright colors and loud sounds. Almost as soon as she could walk, George bought her a toy broomstick, which she took to like a fish to water, doing tricks on it that normally take years of practice, which made Roxy's mother happy too. The pair of them started teaching Roxy Quidditch as soon as she was old enough to understand the rules, which lead to small family games. Roxy always chose to be the seeker, as she loved the thrill of finding and chasing after the snitch, and it also turned out she was incredibly good at it. With her cousins, it got to the point she was picked first and given the seeker position, as this almost always lead to a quick win for the team that did so.
Growing up, Roxy also spent a great deal of time with her father at the store, and George's customers loved her. She would spontaneously use products as intended on those who came in, to usual applause. She particularly enjoyed targeting those who were a little too stiff, a little too rigid, and seeing them laugh after a good joke was played on them. She always stayed lighthearted and light, never being cruel, and as she got old enough, she would stop patrons that had such plans when she figured out what they were up to. Roxy loved a good joke, but a cruel one or a bullying one she simply could not abide.
A natural explorer, Roxy constantly slipped out of her parents sight to find a new nook or cranny to look into and see what was there. She never went anywhere dangerous, and always came back home, never the worse for wear, so eventually her parents learned to let her without freaking out about where she was. She knew every inch of her home, as well as Diagon Ally, by the time she was 10.
She and her father grew very close, to the point that by the time she was heading to Hogwarts, he allowed her to help with the books at the store. Roxy was no math whiz, but she was better with numbers than her father, which lead to a bit more profitability for the store.
When Roxy's letter from Hogwarts came, she begged her parents not to make her go, to let her learn spells and magic from her father, and Quidditch from her mother. Roxy could not see the point in spending time in a dusty old castle when she could be free at home to learn what she wished. Besides, her plans were to either help her father run the store when she came of age, or play Quidditch like her mother, and school seemed to be a complete waist of time to further those goals. Her parents, however, for once put their foot down, and recruited her brother to make sure she didn't slip off the train, a duty her brother resented a little, but performed none the less.
Classes were a nightmare, being forced to sit still and listen to teacher's drone on and on when she should be outside on a broom or exploring the halls of the castle. Her winning sense of humor and bright personality made her lots of friends, which was her only real balm. On insistence from her father, whom she adores, Roxy got anough good grades to pass each year, but put no more effort than that into school. Her real loves are her friends and practicing Quidditch, hoping something on her house team opens up. Now in her 5th year, Roxy is taking only what she has to class wise, though she kept Divination and Care of Magical creatures, the first because it was fun, and the second because it got her outside more. She has a real talent for Charms, but doesn't really apply herself to it unless she can make new joke shop items from it.
Over the summer after her fourth year, Roxy caught her brother sneaking off from home and followed him. She caught him going to Knockturn Alley and speaking with some veyr shady characters there, and when it was clear, she confronted him about it. Fred promised not to do it again, but Roxy is conserned he wasn't telling her the truth, so she's trying to keep a close eye on him. Fred can be very sneaky though, so this has been quite difficult, especially now that Fred knows Roxy is on to him.
Roxy doesn't really care about her OWL's, and would be quite happy if she got not one of them except that would mean she would have to repeat a year. She is counting the days till her 17th birthday, when she no longer has to abide by her parents wishes, and can leave the school behind for good. Her only regret then would be leaving her friends behind, which may be enough to get her to stay through her NEWTs. The other thing that may keep her in school is her brother.
Roxy doesn't get her brother at all. His serious nature is antithetical to her happy-go-lucky ways. Still, she dearly loves him, and would protect him if he needed it, especially from himself. Fred was the target of many of her practical jokes over the years, much to his annoyance, but Roxy knew exactly where to stop before really getting him riled.
Who are their parents : George Weasley and Angelina Johnson
Do they have any siblings? : Her older brother, Fred
Is their any history of mental illness in their family? : No
-PERSONAL INFORMATION-
What do they love? : Roxy dearly loves her father, loves a good, harmless practical joke, and loves Quidditch.
What do they hate? : Those who use what they call humor to hurt other people. She vehemently believes humor should be used to help, not harm.
Have they ever loved anyone in a romantic way? : She's had a couple of light flings, but nothing serious. Roxy is an extremely hard girl to pin down to any form of commitment.
What's their most traumatic memory? : Following her brother to Knockturn Alley and seeing him trading in dark secrets. It was the first time in her life she'd ever been truly afraid, even though it wasn't for herself.
What's their happiest memory? : Playing Seeker to her Mother's chaser in impromptu family Quidditch matches.
Describe their personality : Happy-go-lucky, curious, exploratory, and dynamic. Roxy hates sitting still for too long, wishing to get up, move, explore her surroundings. When forced to sit still, no matter how hard she tries, some part of her has to be moving. Making her sit still is a special form of hell for Roxy. She deeply cares about her family and friends, but stubbornly refuses to be ruled by them. She will forge a path of her own choosing, not one dictated for her by anyone else. She uses jokes and pranks both to lighten moods, and to bring people down a notch when they get too full of themselves.
Describe their personality flaws : Roxy can be very flighty, so wishing not to be tied down or controlled that she will abandon a friend for months at a time with no explanation, only to show up again as if nothing ever happened. She goes almost into a panicked state if she feels too confined.
What would a stranger's first impression of them be? : Funny, witty, gregarious and extroverted. Roxy can be the life of the party if you can get her to go to yours.
How would you, the writer, describe them? : Carefree, loving, and loyal in her own way, despite having a deep seated fear of committing to anything
Any special magical abilities? :
Charms and Enchantments: Inherited from her father.
Magical Experimentation: Roxy is not afraid to put magic together in new ways to create something new.
Flying: Roxy is an ACE flyer, possibly the best seeker since Harry Potter or Viktor Krum. She is able to do things on a broom that look like would kill her, except she does them with such ease and grace it looks effortless.
Any special skills? :
Writer's Name: Imbeni
Roleplaying Sample:
Roxy's leg bounced up and down quickly as she tried to focus on the Professor's words, but to no result. The sun streaming through the window called to her, and her longing to get on her broom and fly outside completely side tracked her mind. It wasn't until the fourth time the Professor asked her a question that she realized he was addressing her.
"Oh, I'm sorry Professor. You know, you could probably sell a recording of your voice as lullabies for children. I was nearly asleep."
It earned her a detention, of course, but the Professor though of himself as Merlins gift to his subject, so ROxy considered it well worth it.
