Who did this chick think she was, telling him to man up? He had done enough of that in his life to be considered fully grown aside from the stupid legal issue of his age. The boy actually thought about opening his mouth for a moment, but it passed quickly as Harper moved. Kaiden barely had time to take a breath before Harper had tugged him, spinning both of them into that odd void one only experienced during apparition. He squeezed his eyes shut, feeling like his entire body was being squished from all angles, his lungs growing tighter and tighter, head pounding until... They popped right back into being, though in an entirely different location this time.
Kaiden's head was dizzy as he felt his feet solid beneath him once more. His whole body tingled, having not enjoyed the experience of apparating at all. He supposed it must be something one got used to, but right now, he was certain he never wanted to do it again... At least, not after they finally got back to the castle with the drinks and he could hide himself away in the dorm with a few bottles of whatever took his fancy. Something strong. Stomach churning, the boy's eyes followed Harper's movements as she made her way forward, closer to the glowing blue light. It was a familiar sight to Kaiden, and confirmed his knowledge that there was no way Harper was a pureblood, simply because they did not tend to own electronically devices.
As his stomach gave a particularly nasty jolt, Kaiden turned, eyes searching until they landed on a house plant just in time for the small dinner he'd eaten to be released back into the enviroment and straight into the plant's pot. He grimaced, letting his body retch up whatever it needed to, and then stood straight, wiping his mouth on his sweater sleeve just as a small figure jumped up to hug the bitch who had dragged Kaiden here.
The Gryffindor male watched, trying not to stare, as the younger boy beamed at his sister and went on about something about staying the night. The interaction stung him, that familiar-ness shared between siblings not lost in his recognition. It made his stomach ache again, but this time he held it down. The boy wasn't too young, but not very old either... Probably about the same age as... Kaiden turned towards the plant again, only getting bile this time, but his body needed to react, unable to take it.
After s small conversation with his sister, the boy returned to the couch, gazing at Kaiden with a look that said he was not welcome here. Kaiden didn't blame him though, he wouldn't have liked some random person seeing him in his underwear when he was that age either. The Gryffindor twisted his lips, trying to give the kid what he hoped to be an actual smile, and failing miserably as his mouth refused to cooperate. Kids were... They hadn't yet had a chance to become assholes. They didn't deserve the normally cold exterior Kaiden exhibited, though, he never was really able to turn it off even if he tried. It was just how he had always been.
Kaiden turned his attention away from the boy on the couch as Harper came back over, reaching for the door and asking him if he'd made a mess on her floor. He shook his head, technically not lying. He'd made a mess alright, just, not on the floor. And thankfully the scent of the plant and darkness of the room covered it up pretty well. No one would notice if he were lucky. If anything, the plant would either be thankful for the extra fertilizer, or die from the over abundance of stomach acid.
